Children's Church
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6

Children’s Church – An alternative to the regular worship service, this service ministers to children ages 3 through 2nd grade by allowing them to experience worship service at their level. One of its purposes is to prepare the boys & girls to participate in the larger church corporate worship service.
A church approved curriculum is followed that incorporates a monthly Biblical overview. Each week the children are broken into two groups. The younger group consists of 3 to 4 year olds and kindergarten children. This group participates in activities related to the monthly Bible verse. The older group consists of 1st and 2nd graders. These children do Bible drills and activities related to the monthly Bible verse. Both groups then gather together for a worship rally where someone”acts out” a story from the Bible, and leads the children in singing worship songs. The service ends with prayer and a snack.
This year we have chosen to sponsor a child through Compassion International as our missions directive. Offerings given to Children’s Church are designated toward that mission. This teaches the children about missionary work by letting them be a part of it.
